Astral & Root is a veteran-owned neurowellness brand dedicated to supporting those who deal with brain fog, anxiety, lack of sleep, low energy and immunity and daily chronic stress. Built for Pressure. Designed for Recovery.
Astral & Root is a veteran-owned human performance company built for people who carry more than most. Founded by a 14-year U.S. Coast Guard service member, we create science-informed products, education, and daily practices designed to support clarity, recovery, resilience, and long-term well-being.
Our approach begins with the nervous system, the command center behind how we think, perform, respond to stress, and recover. We believe high performance should not require sacrificing your health, identity, or connection to the people who matter most.
From service members and first responders to healthcare professionals, parents, athletes, and high-stress leaders, Astral & Root exists to help people feel supported in the moments that demand everything from them.
Clear the static. Come back to yourself.
Precision nootropics for the moments that actually matter. A research-backed stack of focus-enhancing compounds, including Alpha GPC, L-Theanine, Bacopa, and Huperzine A — built for sustained cognitive performance under real demand.* Your brain has a ceiling. Most days you don't notice it. Then comes the briefing that matters, the deadline that won't move, the decision that can't wait — and suddenly you need every bit of focus and recall you're capable of. Cognitive Support is built for those moments. It combines foundational B-vitamins with a targeted nootropic matrix featuring some of the most well-researched compounds in cognitive science, delivered in a single daily capsule.* *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell of your body — and it may be the single most important molecule for cellular energy, brain health, and healthy aging that most people have never heard of. NAD+ levels decline significantly with age, and that decline is linked to reduced energy, slower recovery, and diminished cognitive performance. This formula delivers 500mg of NAD+ alongside Quercetin and Resveratrol — two powerful plant-based compounds that complement NAD+’s cellular benefits.* *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The most-researched supplement on the planet. 5 grams of pure, micronized creatine monohydrate per scoop — the form and dose backed by decades of human research. For muscle. For brain. For sustained output under real load.* You probably already know creatine works for muscle performance. What you may not know: the same mechanism that fuels your muscles — restoring ATP during high-demand work — also fuels your brain. A 2024 meta-analysis reviewing dozens of human trials found that creatine supplementation supports cognitive performance, particularly under conditions of sleep deprivation, mental fatigue, and sustained cognitive demand. For operators, students, shift workers, and anyone whose job requires them to think clearly when they’re exhausted, creatine may be the single most underrated cognitive tool available.* *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Ten functional mushrooms in one capsule. A complete kingdom of nervous system, immune, and cognitive support — anchored by four ingredients you can dose, rounded out by six traditional allies.* Functional mushrooms have been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years, and modern research is catching up fast. Lion’s Mane for nerve growth factor support. Reishi for calm and immune balance. Cordyceps for energy and endurance. Shiitake for beta-glucan immune activity. And that’s just the four named ingredients. Add a traditional six-mushroom blend featuring Maitake, Turkey Tail, Chaga, Royal Sun Agaricus, White Button, and Black Fungus — and you get one of the most comprehensive mushroom formulations on the market.* *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Magnesium glycinate is the most bioavailable form of the mineral your body burns through under chronic stress — and the form your nervous system actually responds to. This formula delivers 275mg of elemental magnesium chelated to glycine, a calming amino acid that pulls double duty: it makes the magnesium absorbable, and it supports the GABA receptor activity your body needs to physically let down. No oxide. No high-dose citrate. No shortcuts.* *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Ancient pharmacology, modern formulation. A 17-ingredient Ayurvedic complex built on three millennia of traditional use — adaptogens, tonics, and digestive herbs in one daily capsule. Ayurveda doesn’t treat stress, fatigue, or digestive discomfort as isolated problems. It treats them as signals from a nervous system that’s out of balance. This formula brings together the most researched herbs in the Ayurvedic tradition — Ashwagandha for stress resilience, Brahmi (Bacopa) for cognitive clarity, Turmeric for whole-body antioxidant support, and Triphala for digestive balance — alongside thirteen other traditional herbs that complete the picture.* *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
